She attended the State University of New York, Buffalo, where she received her dental degree. Dr. Cheng is a part of Gerald K. Appelle, D.M.D. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the New York State Dental Association, the Nassau County Dental Society and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry. She speaks English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese). Her awareness of these different languages makes her accessible to patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds. During her consultations, Dr. Cheng explains patients’ conditions and helps them choose an appropriate treatment plan.
