Matthew R. Young, DDS, originally from Buffalo, New York, attended The Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree graduating with honors.After dental school, Dr. Young entered the Albert Einstein Medical Center residency program in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Here he won the prestigious Lebby award for Outstanding Resident of the Year.After the residency program, Dr. Young practiced in the Philadelphia area for seven years, providing the optimum in patient care. He is active in many national and local dental organizations and serves as an attending clinician at the Albert Einstein Medical Center residency program. Outside of the office, Dr. Young volunteers in San Francisco with California Dental Association Cares, Give Kids a Smile and Project Homeless Connect, where he gives people looking to get back in the workforce new smiles and renewed confidence. He is also proud to have served as the President of the San Francisco Dental Society. Abroad, he works with Operation Smile and teams up with other healthcare providers to turn children's lives around.
