Dr. Kristine Vasquez graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelors degree in Microbiology and Cell Science. She continued with earning her masters in Molecular Medicine from the University of South Florida. Growing up in a family in the medical field, she always knew she would help people in a medical setting. Inspired by her cousin who is a dentist, she knew that dentistry was her true passion. Soon after, she earned her doctorate of dental medicine at Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. After graduation, Dr. Vasquez completed a general practice residency at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, NY where she received advanced dental training especially with oral surgery and hospital based dentistry. For the past two years, Dr. Vasquez has been providing comprehensive dental care in Orlando, FL. She believes in taking the time with her patients to teach them the importance of oral health and the benefit of preventative oral care. Currently she is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, and Chicago Dental Society.Initially, born and raised in Chicago, IL until 7 years old, her family moved to Orlando, FL where she has been for 24 years now, but Dr. Vasquez always knew she wanted to move back to her hometown to be closer to family. In her spare time Dr. Vasquez loves to learn about different cultures through traveling. She also enjoys cooking and especially baking. She loves to spend quality time with family, friends, and especially with her dog Lexi. Dr. Vasquez is very excited to be back in her hometown Chicago and spending time exploring and enjoying the windy city.
