Dr. Gary A. Nord Jr. received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree cum laude from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in 2010. He then went on to complete a two year General Practice Residency where he served as chief resident of the department of Dental and Oral Medicine, overseeing residents and treating a wide variety of complex cases under general anesthesia and IV sedation. Dr. Nord Jr. then furthered his training in the specialty of Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry at New York Hospital Queens, where he learned to provide complex care to patients needing implants, cosmetic dentistry, and full mouth rehabilitation. Dr. Nord Jr. is board certified by the American Board of Prosthodontics, one of the few prosthodontic specialists to receive this honor. He is also a fellow of the American College of Prosthodontists. As a prosthodontist, Dr. Nord Jr. has extensive training in crowns, removable (denture) treatments, implants, complex restorative cases, and full mouth rehabilitation, as well as esthetics and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Nord Jr. strives to provide gentle care in a relaxed, calming environment. He uses state of the art technology to design customized treatment plans for patients. Dr. Nord Jr. is also at the forefront of digital dentistry, scanning patients with a 3D scanner whenever possible to avoid the discomfort of impression materials, and is able to provide the best fitting dental restorations.
